¡BIENVENIDOS!  My name is Señora Zamorano. I am from Honduras.  I have 16 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from 1st grade to adult level.  I am looking forward to working closely with the Spanish 2 level class this year. It will be a challenging yet engaging and productive time in the classroom.  I do have high expectations for all of my students; however, all of your hard work will be rewarded as you advance toward mastery of the Spanish language. We will be using as much as possible the target language while we discuss a topic, answer a question, or/and read or write a response

The main objective for Spanish class is to emphasize interpersonal, interpretive and presentational communication as well as to be able to make linguistic and cultural comparisons; and connections with other disciplines in the target language. Since I was born and raised in Honduras, I love to share my personal cultural experiences with the students.  I have a passion for teaching my language and culture, and my hope is to engage students in learning the target language and explore the culture behind the name of the country.
