Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Sennott

My name is Alec Sennott and this is my first year teaching in Winthrop Public Schools! So far, I have greatly enjoyed teaching all of your children and I look forward to what the rest of the school year will bring. In music class, I intend to teach your children how to be Tuneful, Beatful, and Artful. In other words, your children will learn to sing with healthy technique; to keep a steady beat through rhymes, motions and percussion instruments; and learn to do all of that in a way that is expressive and artistic. This approach continues into second grade where music literacy (how to write and read music) and musical improvisation are also added to the curriculum. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at asennott@winthrop.k12.ma.us.
