INTRODUCTION

     Congratulations! You have just won a round trip ticket to your favorite place on earth. Where would like to go? Would you like to trek through the Amazon rainforest in Brazil? Would you like to ride a gondola through the canals of Venice? Would you like to visit the Great Wall of China?

TASK

     Before you can claim your ticket, you will need to become an expert on the region, city, or country you have chosen to visit. Your final task is to write a postcard of your trip. Browse through actual postcards for ideas you might want to use. Your postcard should include a three paragraph letter, an accompanying image and a postage stamp.

PROCESS

     Are you ready? Are you set? Let's go!

                   1. Decide on your destination. 

                   2. Search online resources. A good starting point is the list below.

                   3. Takes notes and record your information in an organizer.

                   4. Use your notes to draft a postcard of your favorite place.

                   5.  Edit/revise your postcard. Include a Word Art title, a photo, and a postage stamp.

     Your final postcard project will be scored using the following rubric. Remember to always do your best.
