Please be advised there will be a Miller Field Committee meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 6:00pm.  The meeting will be held in the Principal Conference Rom 102, Winthrop High School, 400 Main Street, Winthrop, MA.  Items on the agenda include:  Call to Order, Minutes of 01/24/17, Minutes of Joint Construction & Finance Sub-committee Meeting of 01/27/17, Public Comment, Construction Sub-committee Report, Finance Sub-committee Report, Project Manager's Update, Design Update, Construction Manager Update, New Business - Handicap Access Committee & Tennis Court Parking Plan, Public Comment, Adjournment.

The listing of matters are those reasonably anticipated by the Chair which may be discussed at the meeting.  Not all items may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law.

A school committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2017 at 6:00pm.  The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Room at the William P. Gorman Fort Banks School, 101 Kennedy Drive, Winthrop, MA.  Items on the agenda include:  Roll Call, Public Comment, Correspondence, Minutes, Financial & Business Procedures, Buildings & Grounds, Curriculum Sub-committee Report, Superintendent's Report, Personnel, New Business (School Choice, WHS Student Council Overnight Travel Request, Athletic Sub-commitee Chairperson), Unfinished Business (Second Reading of Community Use of Buildings Policy), Public Comment, Public Relations, Adjournment.

The Chair anticipates the Committee may choose to go into Executive Session to discuss strategy wit respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares and to discuss the reputation, character, physical condition, or mental health, rather than professional competence, of an individual, or discuss the discipline or dismissal of, or complaints or charges against, a public officer, staff member or individual.
